Dear New Friends,

How did we get here? Well, grab a snack, because I like to talk!

Hi! We’re Pam Fincher and Victoria Fincher Batten (and occasionally, baby Scarlett—our tiny chief inspiration). We’re a mother-daughter duo on a mission to leave our mark on the community—by helping decrease the 81.5 LBS of clothes each person in the US throws away every year. 

It all began when my daughter went shopping for maternity clothes. Spoiler alert: there’s not a single place in town to find them! Who knew you’d have to wear a potato sack while pregnant? I mean, what’s a girl gotta do to feel fabulous while growing a human?

Then came the eye-opening realization of baby gear! It’s like buying a ticket to a theme park you can’t visit more than a handful of times before your kid grows out of it. Seriously, why are we spending so much on things that are only cool for five minutes?

And then, voilà! Our princess arrived—an impressive 8.5 pounds and 21.5 inches long! She made her debut so grand that newborn clothes had to go back in the closet—sorry, Gammy! Naturally, I (that’s me, Gammy) went a little overboard on clothing. We have outfits she will never wear—like, should I be starting a baby clothing museum?

So, we took to Facebook Marketplace, where every seller’s nightmare comes true! Oh, the tales I could tell! From the endless photo sessions to the relentless “Is this item still available?” messages. And shopping? Don’t even get me started on those “like new” items that look like they’ve survived a hurricane.

So here we are! I’m Pam, the proud mother and new grandmother (with two sons who clearly need to step up their game and give me more grandchildren). As for Victoria, well, with her having given me a grandchild, she’s definitely my favorite. Don’t tell the boys!
